Project Scope: This project includes seismically replacing the at risk school with a state-of-the-art building on the current property’s upper playfield.   This project will include a Neighbourhood Learning Centre to accommodate 138 childcare spaces.  The new school will be built to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standard or equivalent and incorporates 21st century learning standards.  Construction of the new David Lloyd George will allow students to stay in the current building while the work is completed. The new school will be built with a capacity of 440 students, which is based on enrolment projections.
