Project Scope: This project includes the seismic mitigation of the K-7, single-story, wood-frame building constructed in 1965 (Block 3 - East Wing Classrooms and Administration) with subsequent additions in 1974 (Block 2 - Central Block Classrooms and Gymnasium) and 1979 (Block 1 - West Wing Classrooms). The project also includes accessibility and life safety retrofits as required by the City of Richmond Building Bylaw in addition to critical system retrofits necessitated by the impact of the structural upgrades.
