Project Scope: This project includes seismically replacing the at-risk school with a state-of-the-art building on the same site, including a Neighbourhood Learning Centre.  The new school will be built to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standard and will support B.C.’s new curriculum with modern and open learning spaces. The new Begbie school will have nominal capacity for 340 students, which is 150 fewer than the current school, but more than current and projected enrolment.
