Project Status: UES - Occupied USS - Construction
City/Town: Ucluelet
Project Scope: This project includes the partial replacement and seismic upgrading of USS and seismic upgrading of UES. The scope of the replacement work at USS will include a new music room, library, administration block, a new classroom block with space for 250 students, and a Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) that will be used for childcare programming. The NLC space at USS will directly support young local families with the addition of 25 new childcare spaces. The new replacement spaces will allow for a design that reflects local values and B.C.’s new curriculum. The seismic upgrades at USS will involve the rest of the school, including the gymnasium and trades block.
