A tanker truck carrying condensate was involved in a motor vehicle incident north of Fort St John near Charlie Lake yesterday evening (March 27, 2019). The tractor portion of the truck caught fire and Fort St John Fire Department responded to the scene.
Energetic Services, the response person (owner of the truck and tanker), hired Trojan Safety Services to put out the fire and prevent the tanker contents from being consumed. Salvage operations are expected to take place today. Environmental impacts appear to be confined to the site at this time.
