The Nanaimo Curling Rink reported an ammonia discharge this morning that resulted in an evacuation of the Nanaimo Curling Rink at 106 Wall Street, Nanaimo, B.C.
The discharge resulted from the draining of a chiller (refrigerator) which activated their low level alarm, leading to the evacuation.
No injuries or health issues have been reported. The Nanaimo Fire Department is on-scene.
