Digital credentials are the electronic equivalent of physical documents that you already have. It's a digital equivalent of your physical documents that you could store in a secure digital wallet on your mobile device.
It varies by the type of credential.
For a Person credential:
This is emerging technology and is not yet an enterprise service.
If your service is for lawyers registered in B.C., you may be able to use the new Lawyer digital credential available from the Law Society of B.C.
Other organizations are starting to issue digital credentials. In the future, there may be a Business digital credential that a person could use to prove their business and their role or ownership of the business.
