This section provides that the minister responsible for the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the Act) may form a committee to give advice regarding the operation of the Act.
Section 67 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
The minister responsible for this Act may establish a consultative committee to make recommendations to the minister about the operation of this Act.
The minister responsible for the Act may form ad hoc committees to study any matter concerning the operation of the Act and make recommendations. Unlike the statutory review committee referred to in section 80 of the Act, there are no legislated time frames within which such committees must meet or provide their recommendations.
