Education: Cristi Froyman (B.Sc. Pharm., R.Ph.) graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2007.

Work experience: Cristi worked as a community pharmacist until she started full-time as an academic detailer with the BC Provincial Academic Detailing (PAD) Service in September 2009. 

Academic detailing experience: Cristi has been with the BC PAD service since September 2009. She has completed her basic and advanced training in academic detailing, and has facilitated training at multiple academic detailer workshops.

She is a preceptor for the Interior Health Pharmacy Practice Residency Program in Kelowna, which offers a rotation in academic detailing in primary care. She is also a frequent presenter at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Family Practice Rural Academic Half-Days in Kelowna and Penticton. Along with her BC PAD colleagues, Cristi contributes to developing and reviewing the BC PAD Service handouts.

Other: In her spare time, Cristi is kept busy by her two German shepherds, and she enjoys swimming, exploring and experiencing the beauty of the Okanagan where she lives. Academic detailing allows her to do this and work closely with physicians to improve the health of British Columbians.
