Emily is a regional geological mapper and minerals specialist who focusses on the Stikine terrane of northwestern British Columbia.
University of Alberta (B.Sc., 2008)
Emily joined the BCGS in 2022. Before this, she spent approximately a decade working in mineral exploration in the Cordillera of British Columbia and Yukon on diverse deposits, focussing on geological mapping for target generation and evaluation. At the BCGS, she is responsible for field mapping and studies related to mineral deposits. Emily is particularly interested in building a greater understanding of Cordilleran evolution and the processes that gave rise to, and controlled emplacement of, prolific Late Triassic to Jurassic porphyry and other deposits in northern British Columbia.
