To qualify for a Free Use Permit, you must not own or occupy land where there is sufficient timber that is reasonably accessible for use as firewood.
Please note that a 4X4 vehicle is highly recommended to access these areas.

important to contact the CLCCF before going to their office to obtain your permit or letter of

If you qualify, the Free Use Permit may be obtained by completing the Online Form. Once you receive the Free Use Permit by email it can be printed.
Important: Once you have obtained your Free Use Permit, maps and your Letter of Agreement from either Ts'elweyeqw Forestry Limited Partnership or CLCCF, all the documents must be on site when collecting the firewood and in the vehicle when transporting the firewood.
