The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch has issued Security and Surveillance Standards for the B.C. Gambling Industry (PDF). These public interest standards focus on: ensuring the secure operation of gaming facilities (including financial transactions); protecting patrons, staff and equipment; and staff training. They apply to all commercial gaming facilities, are a condition of being involved in the industry and are effective immediately.
Note:
The Branch intends to issue Responsible Gambling Standards for the B.C. Gambling Industry in July 2005.
