As of October 2008, bingo affiliates are no longer required to fulfill volunteer time commitments, within a hall or a community, in order to receive their grant.
Additionally, in December 2008, monthly grant payments were replaced with a single, lump sum annual payment. This means bingo affiliated organizations now receive their annual grant up front, rather than in twelve monthly installments.

The bingo affiliation grant program has been combined with the direct access grant program in the community gaming grant program. Bingo affiliation documents (guidelines, conditions, and applications) are no longer available on this website.
