The B.C. government has announced a new Multiculturalism Grant program to support and help 150 or more communities and organizations raise awareness of multiculturalism in the province.
Projects that raise awareness about British Columbia's rich multicultural identity or strengthen the ability of cultural organizations to become more involved could be awarded a maximum of $5,000. Non-profit societies and community-based organizations that reflect Aboriginal or ethno-cultural communities are all eligible to apply.
