The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and is aware of its impact on many Community Gaming Grants’ recipients and their delivered programs and capital projects.
Community Gaming Grants wants to reassure all applicants that applications are being received and processed as per the 2020 Guidelines. For example, if Annual General Meetings are being suspended or programming such as festival events are being postponed, you should continue to apply as normal. Community Gaming Grants will provide additional guidance as the situation unfolds.
The Ministry’s top priority is the health and safety of B.C.’s communities, volunteers, and staff. We ask our clients to also adopt this as a top priority when making decisions around changes or cancellations to programming. We are fully committed to supporting our grant recipients during these challenging times.
