The management (MCCF) bands 1 to 6 came into effect on July 1, 2016. Please refer to the Applied, Business and Strategic Leadership classification streams for salary levels before that date.
Some ministries, in collaboration with the BC Public Service Agency, have developed a compensation framework that provides for sub-range assignments within the existing Management Classification and Compensation Framework for Applied, Business and Strategic Leadership.
The purpose of adding these sub-ranges to the current management compensation structure is two-fold. One, it assists with the management of internal relativity within the ministry and across government and two, it provides employees with achievable maximum salary targets that employees can expect to reach over time, subject to affordability.
The links below define the sub-ranges applicable to the ministries that have gone forward with implementing this additional Management Compensation Framework.
A manager whose primary role is to (1) manage the delivery of products and/or services and (2) manage and coordinate assigned work or projects.
