BC Public Service financial officers plan, execute and control accounting, budgetary and financial management practices, systems and procedures required for the efficient and effective operation and conduct of government programs and activities.
They provide functional direction and advice on the control and use of financial resources.
Inclusion criteria: entitlement to temporary market adjustment (TMA)
This classification applies solely to those positions where a recognized accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CA) is a requirement of the position and the incumbent possesses such designation. The ministry senior financial officer (SFO) is responsible for establishing which positions require an accounting designation. Learn more about TMA guidelines (IDIR restricted).
