BC Stats is the only organization in B.C. that can offer the protection of the Statistics Act.

The mandate of BC Stats is to produce high quality data intelligence about British Columbia’s citizens, economy and government.

Operating under the authority of the British Columbia Statistics Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, C. 439, all information provided to BC Stats is kept confidential and used only for statistical purposes. Information that could identify individuals or businesses is not released without their consent.
