In addtion, Educacentre College, the only French-language college in B.C. also offers various programs in French.
The B.C. Ministry of Education and Child Care offers bursaries to residents of the province who take at least 55% of their courses in French while pursuing full-time studies at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada. Bursary criteria and eligibility
You are a student:
All SFU students (including students in the Teacher Education Program) must apply by emailing to the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs (OFFA)
Students in other B.C. Teacher Education Programs must email UBC Teacher Education Office and UBC Okanagan Campus
Prior to submitting your bursary application, please review the Bursary for Students - Post-Secondary Education in French criteria (PDF).
Application deadline
Application Deadline: February 28
E.g. February 28, 2024 is the deadline to apply for courses ending between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024.
