Business Walks

Last updated on August 5, 2020

A Business Walk is a tool to create conversations between local leaders and officials and local business owners. They create a better understanding of what’s working and what needs to be done for your local businesses, helping you to support and stimulate local economic activity.

A Business Walk:

  • Provides an opportunity to increase awareness of programs and services available to business
  • Enables participants to communicate business issues and opportunities they face
  • Allows leaders from the Chambers of Commerce and other service providers to share information about their organizations and supports with businesses
  • Tracks the business climate over time to inform:
    • Program development
    • Strategic planning
    • Business messaging and promotion
  • Helps find individual businesses that need specific follow-up information or support
