This section defines ‘livestock brand inspector’ and sets limitations on the hours those inspectors may work before overtime pay is payable.
34.2 (1) In this section, "livestock brand inspector" means a person who provides ownership identification services on domestic livestock.
(2) Section 40 of the Act does not apply to livestock brand inspectors.

(4) An employer who requires or allows a livestock brand inspector to work more than 120 hours within a 2-week period must pay the employee for the hours worked in excess of 120 hours at not less than 1 1/2 times the regular wage.

Subsection (1)
A “livestock brand inspector” as defined, means a person who provides ownership identification services on domestic livestock.
Subsection (2)
Livestock brand inspectors are excluded from s.40 of the Act, Overtime wages for employees not working under an averaging agreement.
Subsection (4)
A livestock brand inspector who works more than 120 hours within a 2-week period must be paid at least 1-1/2 times their regular wage for the hours in excess of 120 hours.
