Information and Services for Workers' Representatives

Last updated on July 24, 2024

The WAO provides workers' representatives with training and mentoring on workers' compensation issues.

A Workers' Adviser can:

  • Help enhance your knowledge of the workers’ compensation system, prohibited action issues, and occupational health and safety complaints
  • Help you with a Request for Review at the Review Division or an Appeal at the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal

Start a new inquiry with us if:

  • Your injured worker disagrees with a decision from WorkSafeBC
  • You would like advice or assistance on a potential review or appeal for one of your injured workers
  • WorkSafeBC refused to provide your injured worker with a decision related to entitlement under the Workers Compensation Act
  • Your worker's employment or membership in a union was terminated from raising a health and safety concern and you want to file a prohibited action complaint with WorkSafeBC
  • WorkSafeBC denied your worker's prohibited action complaint
  • You need advice on an occupational health and safety matter involving an administrative penalty against an employer, an order issued against your injured worker, or an inspection report
