Get the official Ventilation Index Forecast delivered right to your web page.
Ventilation Index Forecast Widget (currently in BETA) allows your organization's website to communicate the up-to-date Ventilation Index forecast for your chosen zone.
What is a widget?
A widget, also called a snippet or gadget, is an online application that displays featured content directly on your web page. Once installed, widgets are automatically updated to display new information as soon as it is published so your website visitors can get the most current information without having to visit other web sites.
The Ventilation Index Forecast Widget is primarily designed for local governments and municipal authorities who communicate open burning by-laws that reference the Ventilation Index to assist in communicating Ventilation Index data to their constituents.
See how North Saanich District embedded the Ventilation Index Forecast widget.
The Ventilation Index forecast is issued every morning by 7:30 AM (PST/PDT). Learn more about the Ventilation Index and burning requirements under the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation before using this widget.
