On January 22, 2014, the Honourable Teresa Wat held a consultation forum hosted by the Chinese Benevolent Association of Prince George. This was the sixth consultation forum in which government actively engaged British Columbia's Chinese community associations and individuals who were directly and indirectly impacted by historical discriminatory legislation. The purpose of the forum is to allow the community to provide guidance toward an appropriate public apology.
