Naming convention for digital artwork files
When working with B.C. digital artwork files, there are five components to be aware of:
- the digital artwork's name;
- the orientation (horizontal or vertical) of the artwork;
- the colour space (CMYK, Grey, Solid or RGB) used to reproduce the artwork;
- whether the artwork prints positive (pos) on a light background or reverses (rev) out of a dark background;
- the artwork's digital file format (vector or raster).
Here is a file name that demonstrates this naming convention: BCID_V_CMYK_pos.eps
