Direct Access to Ministry of Health Data Warehouse

Direct access to the ministry’s Healthideas data warehouse may be granted in certain circumstances.

Ministry of Health employees in a role that requires access to data can request access to Healthideas using the HSIAR Request Management System (RMS).

“Third Party” requestors, such as employees of B.C. regional health authorities, requiring access to ministry data, may contact the ministry at healthideas@gov.bc.ca to inquire about access.

Note: For those conducting academic research, the ministry works with its service provider Population Data B.C. to facilitate the process of disclosing ministry data for research.
