LCFS Initiative Agreement program

The Initiative Agreement program (the program) commenced in 2014 to accelerate the use of low carbon fuels while providing additional compliance pathways.

The Initiative Agreement program:

Allocates up to 25% of the previous compliance year’s debits
Reviews applications from anyone in B.C. for eligible actions
Grants LCFS credits to successful applicants for complete actions

Projects supported under Initiative Agreements

The Initiative Agreement program currently supports over 40 projects.
