This comprehensive course on human trafficking will help you recognize fundamental concepts related to human trafficking, including definitions, risk factors and victims’ needs, as well as best practice responses to support trafficking victims.
The course includes 9 eLearning modules, a handbook and a video resource, and takes 10-12 hours to complete. Each online training module includes testimonies and is followed by a short quiz.
Participants are free to customize the course by selecting modules that are relevant to them. All modules must be completed to request a course certificate.
Please note: While this online course was developed by Ontario-based MCIS Language Solutions, most of its content is relevant to British Columbia, and to the Canadian context. There is however course content that is specific to Ontario and that includes the following modules:
