A Youth Agreement is a legal agreement made between you and the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) in cases of extreme need. A thorough assessment of your circumstances will be completed by your local MCFD office, and when appropriate, we will work with your family to address your needs.

Young people with care experience can access the SAJE program, which provides supports and services until the age of 27. Services are available to support pre- and post-19 transition planning, income support, housing, medical and dental benefits, mental health benefits, and life-skills, training, and cultural connections funding.
