Budget 2017 Update eliminated the International Business Activity program, effective September 12, 2017.

To qualify for the International Business Activity (IBA) program, an eligible corporation, specialist or foreign bank authorized to carry on business in Canada must be registered.

Due to the elimination of the IBA program, effective September 12, 2017, applications for registration of a corporation or a specialist received after September 11, 2017 are not being considered.
