We are developing a shared vision for integrated transportation in the Fraser Valley.
The Fraser Valley is experiencing rapid growth and rising congestion. This is resulting in increasing pressure on development, transportation infrastructure and housing. We are collaborating with cross ministry partners, local governments, transportation agencies and First Nations to develop a shared vision for integrated transportation.
Develop a shared integrated transportation vision for the Fraser Valley and establish how we want to work together to achieve it
Identify the key strategic priorities for the Fraser Valley to inform future opportunities for regional integrated transportation planning
Identify priority actions for future planning, programs, projects and ultimately investments in the Fraser Valley
Develop a shared path forward for collaborating on future regional planning and the outcomes
The work that results from this process will provide recommendations on next steps and help inform future integrated planning in the region.

The visioning process began in Fall 2023 and is expected to complete Winter 2024.
The project is committed to engaging and working collaboratively with local First Nation communities, local governments, and transportation agencies. Input provided by First Nation and local government partners and other key stakeholders will provide an understanding of the region’s perspective of how the project can support economic growth, access to services, sustainable transportation options, climate action and affordability in the area.
