Security licence reconsideration

You may request that Security Programs Division (SPD) to reconsider a decision to deny, suspend, cancel or apply conditions to your licence.

Eligibility

You must request reconsideration:

• In writing.
• Within 30 days of getting the decision.

SPD may extend the deadline for special circumstances.

Instructions

Email or send a letter to SPD. Explain why SPD should reconsider the decision. 

Outcomes

SPD may confirm, change or cancel the original decision. They will send a letter with an explanation why the decision was made.
