Most of our transportation system is powered by fossil fuels. The result is that transportation is one of the largest sources of air pollutants (and greenhouse gases) in British Columbia. As most of these emissions happen close to where we live and work, they can have a significant impact on our health.

Aircraft emissions are regulated by Transport Canada under the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
