In March 2022, the B.C. government supported the establishment of a Period Poverty Task Force to recommend a comprehensive, long-term response to period poverty in B.C.
The task force released its final report in March 2024.
Government is committed to reviewing the recommendations laid out in the report to determine a path forward to ending period poverty in B.C.
