Safety Standards Appeal Board – Public Interest Disclosure Act Reports

Effective April 1, 2022, the jurisdiction of the Public Interest Disclosure Act (PIDA) was extended over several public bodies, including the Safety Standards Appeal Board (SSAB). PIDA provides a framework for employees to report specific kinds of serious wrongdoing with legislated protection from reprisal. Section 38 of PIDA requires the SSAB to report annually on all wrongdoings made in the past year. You can find the reports below:
