Changes to regulators in B.C.
In June 2024, several health colleges in B.C. were merged into two new regulatory bodies:
- College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC regulates chiropractors, naturopathic physicians, registered massage therapists, and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists
- College of Health and Care Professionals of BC regulates audiologists, dietitians, hearing instrument practitioners, occupational therapists, opticians, optometrists, physical therapists, psychologists, and speech-language pathologists
