Statistics Canada conducts the Census of Agriculture every five years, at the same time as the Census of Population. The most recent Census of Agriculture data for the Province of B.C. have been extracted from the national data set, and are presented here.

- Census of Agriculture: Guide provides an overview of the Census of Agriculture communications, content determination, collection, processing, data quality evaluation and dissemination activities. It also summarizes the key changes to the 2021 census and other useful information.
- Census of Agriculture: The Farm and Farm Operator Data Visualization Tool provides provincial data by 'Farms', 'Farm Operators' and 'Paid Labour'.
- Provincial and territorial profiles: Canadian Agriculture at a Glance looks at key findings and emerging trends in agriculture. Users will find the highlights and a brief analysis of the results from the 2021 Census of Agriculture for each province.
- Census of Agriculture: The Mapping Tool allows for cartographic visualization of Census of Agriculture data in a dynamic manner at all geographic levels: Canada, Province or territory, Census Agricultural Region (CAR), Census Division (CD) and Census Consolidated Subdivision (CCS). Users can find 2016 and 2021 Census of Agricultural findings in the following categories: 'Agricultural operation characteristics', 'Characteristics of farm operators', 'Land use, land tenures and management practices', 'Crops', 'Livestock, poultry and bees' and 'Dominant farm types
- Census of Agriculture: The community profiles presents detailed 2021 Census of Agriculture information for the following levels of geography: Canada, Province or territory, Census Agricultural Region (CAR), Census Division (CD) and Census Consolidated Subdivision (CCS). Users can select up to two places for data comparisons. As a place name is typed, all available matches will be presented for selection.

A statistical summary of farms in B.C. is provided below. This data is based on the Census of Agriculture 2021, and includes:
- British Columbia census farms, broken down by industry, capital value and total farm capital, total operating revenue, cropland, and total farm area
- Number of census farms and farm operators by regions and regional districts
- Number of census farms by economic regions and regional districts
- Classification of British Columbia census farms, broken down by size of operation, economic class and total value of sales, industry, and capital value
- Farmland area classified by use of land and by regions
- Farm capital value by regions
