All transactions in MTO are issued event numbers. An event number is issued after successful registration of an MTO event. The event number is displayed on your screen at the end of an event registration. The event number is used to keep track of the various events or documents that are registered in the Mineral Titles registry. You need to know an event number(s) to include in the report or cover letter when you are submitting an assessment report; or when you wish to request the retrieval of a registered document that has been previously recorded against a tenure.
