Manage Authorized Contacts

To access the full benefits of the organization online platform, each authorized contact requires their own BCeID user account.

Step 1: Register a Business BCeID

If your organization already has a Business BCeID profile, skip to Step 2. If not, register for a Business BCeID.

Step 2: Create BCeID user accounts

All your organization's authorized contacts must have individual BCeID user accounts to log in to the new platform. Learn more about authorized contacts.

  1. Search the BCeID business directory to find your organization.
  2. Reach out to the appropriate business manager, as listed in the directory, to request the creation of a BCeID user account.
  3. Designate primary authorized contacts as Profile or Account Managers.
  4. Contact the CRRP to access the organization online platform.

For more assistance on setting up your BCeID user accounts, refer to pg. 18-21 of the Business BCeID Profile and Account Management Guide (PDF).

If there's a problem with your Business BCeID, contact the BCeID Help Desk.

If your organization can’t use the online platform

If your organization doesn’t register with the CRRP using a Business BCeID, the CRRP will provide an access code. This code is shared with applicants when they need to submit their criminal record check along with a secure link to the online criminal record check application. Do not post the access code publicly.

Your access code doesn't expire. To change it, contact the CRRP.

You can link your Business BCeID account with the CRRP at any time if you decide later that you would like to access the benefits of the online platform. Contact the CRRP when you’re ready.
