Are you looking to get funding for a wildfire prevention initiative in B.C.? There are funding programs available that you may be eligible to take advantage of.

Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program

The Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program was introduced by the provincial government in September 2018. It is intended to reduce wildfire risks and wildfire impacts in British Columbia communities by providing funding and support to complete FireSmart™ initiatives, including priority fuel management activities on provincial Crown land and on private land.

Forest Enhancement Society BC (FESBC)

In February 2016, the BC Government announced the formation of a new organization called the Forest Enhancement Society of BC. At the time of its formation, the BC Government provided an initial contribution of $85 million to the Society.
