Authorized Users of the Vehicle Rental supply arrangement
- Core B.C. government staff travelling on official government business, including all provincial government employees
- Members of the:
- Legislative Assembly (MLAs)
- Provincial judicial system
- Employees and officials on the CSA User's List travelling on official business
- A person under contract with a ministry or an authorized broader public sector organization, travelling on official government business, for whom all expenses are reimbursed by the ministry or organization
Identification Requirements
- Business card
- Letter signed by an expense authority from the ministry or public sector organization (for people under contract with the provincial government or eligible public sector organizations)
Authorized Passengers
Passengers authorized to travel in the rented vehicle under the terms of the supply arrangement include:
- Government employees transported in the performance of their duties
- Spouses or children accompanying authorized users on travel status
- Contractors or persons other than employees transported in connection with government business
- Persons authorized in writing by an executive financial officer or designate
Additional Drivers
- Authorized passengers (see above) accompanying the authorized user are permitted as additional drivers whether declared or not at the time of rental.
- Additional drivers must hold a current and valid driver's license and have completed the graduated licensing program
- Additional drivers must be over the age of 19
- An additional driver fee will not be charged for additional drivers
