BC Public Service Ethics Framework

The BC Public Service has roles and responsibilities relating to ethics leadership, governance, policies, and practices. The BC Public Service Ethics Framework shows how government’s central agencies (BC Public Service Agency, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Citizens’ Services) are integrated and coordinate ethics.

The framework places the Oath of Employment, Standards of Conduct, and corporate values at the centre of our work, and it shows how ethical responsibilities correspond to different government functions.
