Direct Deposit is a safe and dependable way to receive payment each month without delay.

How to Sign Up:

  1. If you don't already have a bank account, open one at the bank or credit union of your choice. You will have to give them some personal information, including your name and address. You do not need to make a deposit to open an account
  2. Complete the Direct Deposit Request (PDF) form
  3. Attach a personal cheque with "VOID" written on the front to the form. If you don't have a cheque, ask your bank to fill in your account details
  4. Return the completed form to a local Child and Family Service Office
  5. Re-submit a new Direct Deposit form with Void cheque if your banking information changes, noting the effective date of the change
