Each year estimates from all ministries for the coming fiscal year are presented to the Legislative Assembly as part of the Budget Speech. After the speech, members debate the budget. Each ministry prepares a package of information, called estimates notes, to support their minister through the debate.
Once all voting on the estimates is completed, a Final Supply Bill is introduced and typically passes all legislative stages on the same day. Learn more about the process: The Estimates Debate and the Committee of Supply.

The estimates notes for each ministry are published 120 calendar days after the Final Supply Bill passes.
