The BC Public Service Hall of Excellence recognizes individuals who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to the province.
Hall of Excellence inductees are determined through the Premier’s Innovation and Excellence Awards. This program has recognized public service achievements since 2004.
Adjudicators and judges determine the Premier’s Awards finalists and recipients in eight categories:
Recipients of the Legacy award are eligible for induction into the Hall of Excellence. This is the highest form of recognition the BC Public Service can extend to its employees.
Inductees receive a BC Public Service Hall of Excellence medallion and lapel pin.
The inaugural induction into the Hall of Excellence took place at the Premier’s Awards ceremony in Victoria in 2014.
