Launched in June 2021, the Value Chain Innovation Service (PDF, 1MB) aims to expand demand-driven business opportunities for British Columbian (B.C.) food and beverage products in the province's public institutions and beyond.
This ministry service focuses on supporting Feed BC, a provincial government initiative that encourages and supports increasing the availability of B.C. food in hospitals, care facilities, public post-secondary institutions, and other public sector facilities and programs.
We work with businesses across supply chains to assist B.C. public institutions to identify and source available B.C. food and beverage products
We help develop new value chains by matching B.C. food and beverage businesses with the product needs of B.C. institutions
We facilitate and provide business-to-business connections, online resources, industry engagement opportunities and events
We develop and promote information, resources and learning opportunities to grow market awareness and enhance business capacity.
