Online emergency management training courses are in partnership with the Justice Institute of BC (JIBC) and are available to all eligible applicants in the province.
To be eligible to apply, you must be one of the following:
Priority for course seats is given to applicants who directly support their local Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). Space is limited and courses are often filled by this priority group.
Based on what group you're in, you must have a recommendation from:
Courses are provided at no cost to eligible participants who fill various roles during emergency and disaster response.
If you don’t show up for a course, you may not be able to take future government sponsored courses. If you must withdraw from a course, please let us know well in advance of the start date.
