Protect your images

Has someone shared (or threatened to share) an intimate image or video of you without your consent?  It’s not your fault and you are not alone – the Intimate Images Protection Service can help.

Sharing someone else's intimate images (or threatening to share them) without consent is against the law in B.C. The Intimate Images Protection Act makes it easier to get your images deleted by the people and/or online platforms sharing them.

The Intimate Images Protection Service can help you by:

  • Providing specialized support and resources,
  • Sharing information about your options (e.g., applying to the Civil Resolution Tribunal), and
  • Helping you navigate whatever pathway(s) you choose.
