Step 1: Confirm eligibility and review Guidelines and Conditions

Check that your organization is eligible to apply for a Capital Project Grant by reviewing the applicable Capital Projects Grant Guidelines.

Applicants are encouraged to read the guideline and conditions documents in full, as they contain important information about eligibility, application requirements, the use of grant funds and the responsibilities of grant recipients.

Step 2: Determine when to apply

The 2024 Capital Projects Grant application intake opens June 17 and closes August 15, 2024 with final notification expected by December 31, 2024.

Step 3: Prepare for your application

There are several helpful online resources to support applicants to prepare for and submit an online application for a Capital Project Grant.

Before beginning the online application for a Capital Project Grant, please review the pre-application checklist to ensure that you have all required information and documentation available to refer to or to upload to the application. This preparation will make applying faster and easier.

Step 5: Submit supporting documents

Ensure that all required supporting documents are uploaded to the online application, at the time of application. Supporting documents for Capital Project Grant applications will not be accepted by email. Applicants will not be contacted for missing or unclear documents.

Step 6: Wait for your application decision

Applicants will be notified by email by December 31.
