Return statuses

Each return has a return status. The return status can be:

  • Overdue - A return for the period has not been filed before its due date. It is now considered late and may be subject to penalties and interest
  • Generated - A return is available to be submitted
  • Submitted  - A return has been submitted. If the return detail page says Processing, then the return is being processed through our system or is being reviewed by the program area
  • Completed - A return has been received and processed
  • Withdrawn - A return has been submitted then cancelled
  • Draft - A return for the period has been saved, but not submitted
